Dr. Diana Chavez leads professional engagement and development initiatives for the Master of Analytics program. They design and implement comprehensive resources, programming, and group or individual sessions to help students prepare to launch their careers. In addition, Dr. Chavez helps build employer and industry relationships to connect students with internships and professional opportunities.

Erica is originally from Savannah, Georgia. She attended Georgia Southern University, where she earned her BS in Mathematics and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree.
Before joining Berkeley, Erica taught secondary mathematics and also worked at the University of Florida in admissions and student affairs.
Outside of work, she takes advantage of the nice weather and scenic trails in the Bay Area by hiking, running, and camping.

Jasmine leads marketing, communications, and recruitment for the Berkeley Master of Analytics program.

Jenny assists with graduate student advising, GSI hiring, and event coordination. She is a California native who completed her BA in Linguistics with a Chinese minor from UC Berkeley and M.S.Ed in Intercultural Communication from University of Pennsylvania (Penn GSE). In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and podcasts, watching YouTube videos, and reading books.
Graduate Student Services Manager

Heather Iwata oversees the graduate student experience and program management of IEOR’s master of analytics, master of engineering, master of science and PhD programs.
She brings nearly 20 years of experience in graduate and professional school admissions and student affairs. Heather holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Psychology from University of California, Davis, and a master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Her goal for students is to support the discovery of an authentic, professional and lived path while successfully completing their graduate degree.
Heather has a love for all things Disney and expect her to get up and dance if *NSYNC, Boyz II Men, or Adele are playing!

Goldie oversees and implements internal and external communication strategies while driving fundraising and resource development efforts to support the Department’s mission and growth.

Jill reports to the Chair and is the highest-ranking non-academic administrator in the Department and is responsible for performing the highest level of administrative and policy analysis on a broad range of issues for the Chair. Independently responsible for its overall administration, the Manager provides leadership and management direction within Industrial Engineering & Operations Research and is accountable for the following major areas: Managerial Leadership, Strategic Planning, Budget & Finance, Academic Administration (including Student Services), Technical & Instructional Support (including IT), Human Resources & Administrative Management, Space & Facilities, and Special Programs.

Ginnie manages undergraduate programs for the IEOR department, including the Bachelor of Science in IEOR and the Bachelor of Arts in Analytics.
Assistant Director of Career Services & Employer Engagement
As the Assistant Director of Career Services & Employer Engagement, Josh facilitates connections between students and the job market by overseeing a team focused on career counseling, resume development, and interview preparation. Josh collaborates with employers to create partnerships that enhance internship and job opportunities as well as to organize events such as career fairs to encourage networking.
Outside of work, Josh spends time with his family, drawing, playing guitar, and rowing.
